IntipSeleb – Pergelaran Billboard Music Awards 2021 akhirnya resmi digelar pada Minggu, 23 Mei 2021 waktu Amerika Serikat. Salah satu ajang penghargaan bergengsi di bidang musik ini dilaksanakan di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles.
Nick Jonas kali ini berkesempatan menjadi presenter utama dalam BBMAs 2021. Berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya, Billboard Music Awards 2021 ini digelar tanpa penundaan. Walau demikian, acara ini dilangsungkan dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan mengingat pandemi COVID-19 yang masih melanda.
Dalam BBMAs 2021 sederet penyanyi hingga grup akan menampilkan penampilan luar biasa. Mulai dari BTS, H.E.R, Twenty One Pilots, hingga Bad Bunny akan menyuguhkan penampilan mereka dengan konsep beragam.
Untuk nominasi, The Weeknd unggul dengan masuk dalam 16 kategori Billboard Music Awards 2021. Disusul oleh DaBaby dengan 11 nominasi, Pop Smoke dengan 10 nominasi, dan Gabby Barrett dengan 9 nominasi.
Tahun ini, Pink diumumkan sebagai pemenang Billboard Icon Award. Trae tha Truth menyabet penghargaan Change Maker. Sementara Drake dinobatkan sebagai Artist of the Decade.
BTS berhasil menyabet 4 penghargaan dari 4 nominasi di Billboard Music Awards 2021. Taylor Swift membawa pulang dua penghargaan salah satunya sebagai Top Female Artist.
